The school

Founded in 1970 by two educationists.

Oxford Senior Secondary School — a co-educational institution — was established in 1970 under the patronage of the Hansraj Prabhakar Education Society.

Vision and foresight is the difference between any institution and the great ones. Two pairs of eyes — Late Dr. C. P. Prabhakar and Late Smt. Kiron Prabhakar, our founders and renowned educationists — saw this vision and, with hard work, grit and determination, set out to lay a foundation for the future. They invested their sweat and blood into the most important people in the world — children — and Oxfordians are their harvest.

Sport, stage and service

Cultural activity, sport and service are not extras at Oxford. They are how children find out what they are good at.

Students at the Hansraj Prabhakar Memorial Basketball Tournament

Sport, led by basketball

Basketball is the school's prime sport. Oxford has hosted the Hansraj Prabhakar Memorial Invitational Tournament every year since 1990, across four categories. Annual Sports Day falls on 25 February, the founder's birth anniversary.
